Kerala Blasters retain defender Sandesh Jhingan
Kochi based Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters have decided to retain defender Sandesh Jhingan ahead of the 2017-18 Indian Super League season. Blasters had earlier retained C.K. Jeje Lalpekhlua signs a lucrative deal with the club
One of the best forwards in ISL, Jeje Lalpekhlua has signed a lucrative three-year deal with Chennaiyin FC. While the details of the contract have not been disclosed, it is supposed to make Jeje one of the richest players in the ISL. The Chennai based team had earlier retained 31-year old goal-keeper Karanjit Singh for two more years.
Pune City retain Vishal Kaith
Pune City FC have retained 20-year old goal-keeper Vishal Kaith, even though he didn't make a single appearance for the team last year. However, his performance with the Shillong Lajong FC team has been impressive.
A winger, a goal-keeper and a new Director
After signing Prabir Das and Debjit Majumder for the next season, the defending champions Atletico de Kolkata have appointed former Bengaluru FC manager Ashley Westwood as their new Director of Football. Westwood had managed Bengaluru for three years and guided the team to two I-League titles and a Confederation Cup victory. Kolkata are yet to name the new head coach.
