India reaches semi-finals comfortably; after a win over England
Defending champions, India booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup as they registered a comfortable win over England. Inflicting five all outs on the English side, India won the Group A match 69-18. Pradeep Narwal emerged the hero for India by scoring 13 raid points. India became the third nation to qualify for the semi-finals after Korea and Iran.
Kenya crushed USA to keep final four hopes alive
In the Group B encounter, Kenya defeated the United States of America and have kept their semi-final hopes alive. The African side came out to be too strong for the USA as they won by a huge 74-19 margin. Captain David Mosambayi collected 12 raid points for Kenya and dismantled the USA team six times. USA finished their campaign without a single win.

In Group A match, Bangladesh will meet Argentina. While Bangladesh have won two of their four matches, Argentina are yet to register a win. Japan and Thailand will lock horns in Group B to fight for the semi-final spot.

As Thailand will meet Japan today in the final Group B encounter of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup, three nations will look forward to the clash. If Thailand win the match, they will without doubt reach the semis closing the door for others. If Japan win the match, it will be Kenya and Japan who will reach the final four depending on the scores.
