    What's the story

Veteran Bangladesh's fast bowler Taskin Ahmed delivered a remarkable performance on the second day of the first Test against India at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai .

He claimed three wickets in no time as the hosts were folded for 376 batting first.

Taskin was well complimented by young pacer Hasan Mahmud, who claimed a historic five-for.

    Here are further details.

    Taskin's early strikes dent India

Taskin, who had not taken a wicket on the opening day, made significant contributions on Day 2.

He claimed the first three wickets of the day as India resumed their innings at 339/6.

His early strikes included dismissing Ravindra Jadeja (86) and Akash Deep, before sending back yesterday's top-scorer, Ravichandran Ashwin (113).

These dismissals helped keep India's total under control and set up an interesting contest.
