Mobile World Congress: ZTE announces three new budget smartphones
Chinese smartphone manufacturer ZTE has announced three new budget smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona. These are the Blade V9, the Blade V9 Vita, and the Tempo Go, which is also the company's first Android Go device. The smartphones are priced at roughly Rs. 14,300, Rs. 21,400, and Rs. 5,200, respectively. Here is more on them.
Blade V9 is the highest performing phone of all three
The ZTE Blade V9 smartphone features a 5.7-inch display and a dual lens rear camera of 16 MP and 5 MP. It has two storage options of 3 GB/32 GB and 4 GB/64 GB. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and runs the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It's reported to be the highest performing device of all three.
The Blade V9 Vita features a 5.45-inch display
The Blade V9 Vita smartphone is a smaller version of the Blade V9. It features a 5.45-inch display and a dual lens rear camera of 13 MP and 2 MP. It comes in two storage options of 2 GB/16 GB and 3 GB/32 GB. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 435 processor and runs the Android 8.1 OS.
Tempo Go is ZTE's first smartphone to run Android Go
Finally, the ZTE Tempo Go is an extremely budget smartphone with the Android Go OS, which is Google's new mobile OS for entry-level devices. It features a 5-inch display, a 5 MP rear camera, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of storage. The device is powered by a 1.1 GHz processor. The Tempo Go will be available in an unlocked condition.
