ZTE Axon 9 Pro with Snapdragon 845 processor launched
As a successor to the 2016's Axon 7, China-based ZTE has launched the Axon 9 Pro smartphone at the ongoing IFA 2018 in Berlin. The key highlights of the ZTE Axon 9 Pro are its notch-based full-HD+ display, dual rear cameras, and Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 845 processor. The phone goes on sale in Germany from September end
The ZTE Axon 9 will be available in Germany by September end. However, the company has not disclosed any details about the phone's global availability and pricing.
ZTE Axon 9 Pro: At a glance
The phone sports a notch-based display with a prominent bottom bezel and comes with an IP 68 dust and water-resistance rating. Further, there's an iPhone X-like vertically-stacked dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor which are housed in a glass chassis. The ZTE Axon 9 Pro features a 6.21-inch full-HD+ (1080x2248 pixels) AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.7:9 and 2.5D curved glass.

The Axon 9 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.75) sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and a 20MP sensor with a 130-degrees wide-angle lens. The primary camera also comes with dual-pixel autofocus and a flash module. Up front, there is a 20MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and it comes with support for facial recognition.

The ZTE Axon 9 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone runs stock Android Oreo 8.1 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with wireless charging and Quick Charge 4+ support. Further, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C and packs a standard array of sensors.
