Prior to launch, ZTE reveals Axon 30 Ultra smartphone's specifications
ZTE will announce its Axon 30 smartphone series tomorrow i.e. April 15 in China, including the Axon 30 Ultra. Now, just a day ahead of the launch event, the company has revealed (via Weibo) some of its key specifications. The handset will come with a 144Hz display, a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support, and a "triple ice-sealed" vapor cooling chamber. Here's our roundup.
The phone will flaunt an AMOLED display
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra will feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, curved edges, and an integrated fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will pack a quad-camera module. The handset will bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2460 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It will be offered in black, white, blue, and coffee (leather back) variants.
It will boast of three 64MP cameras
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra will house a quad rear camera unit comprising a 64MP primary sensor, a 64MP ultra-wide lens, a 64MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens. For selfies, there will be a 44MP front-facing camera.
The device will boot MyOS 11 based on Android 11
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 11-based MyOS 11 and pack a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. The device will also offer support for three microphones, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS, NFC, 5G, and a Type-C port.
ZTE Axon 30 Ultra: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra will be announced at the launch event tomorrow. However, it might cost around $1,200 (roughly Rs. 90,000) for the 12GB/256GB model.
