Xiaomi launches a new 3-in-1 flashlight, power bank, and lamp
As the latest addition to its portfolio of smart home products, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched a new 3-in-1 device in its home country. The multi-functional device can be used as a flashlight, a lamp as well as a power bank, thanks to a built-in battery. In China, it is priced at roughly Rs. 1,200. Here's our roundup.
One device, many roles
The device is listed as the 'Natuo Multifunction Induction Flashlight' (via Google Translate) on the Xiaomi Youpin website. It is essentially a multipurpose flashlight that can be wall-mounted to be used as a lamp. Further, with the help of built-in proximity sensors, it can automatically turn on when someone is near and turn off when no one is around.
It has a detection range of upto 3 meters
The built-in sensor has a 120-degree field of view which helps the lamp detect human presence from as far as 3 metres. Moreover, depending on your location, it can also adjust ambient light.
Comes with a 2,600mAh Lithium-ion battery
The multi-purpose device can also be used as a pocket-friendly flashlight as well as a power bank. Thanks to a built-in 2,600mAh Lithium-ion battery, it can charge a compatible device like a smartphone or wireless earphones via a USB Type-A port. And though there is no fast-charging on offer, the built-in power bank feature is a useful addition especially when you are traveling.
The device costs 119 yuan
In China, the Natuo Multifunction Induction Flashlight is priced at 119 yuan which translates to approximately Rs. 1,200. However, at present, there is no information on the device's availability in India.
