Redmi Note 7-series, Redmi Go smartphones launching soon in India
As part of its latest sub-brand 'Redmi', Xiaomi will launch as many as three new smartphones in India soon. Citing "trusted sources", MySmartPrice claimed that the company will launch Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Go in the country "before the end of the first quarter" i.e. before March 2019. Meanwhile, Redmi Note 7 has already been launched in China.

The Redmi Note 7 sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 48MP+5MP dual rear-camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. Lastly, the phone runs Android Oreo-based MIUI 9 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.
And, what about Redmi Note 7 Pro?
Redmi Note 7 Pro is expected to retain the design, display, and other internals of the Redmi Note 7. However, the Pro model will offer a 48MP Sony IMX586 rear camera instead of the 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor on Redmi Note 7. Lastly, the phone is expected to run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset, paired with upto 6GB RAM.
Redmi Go is also in the works
Xiaomi is also gearing up to launch Redmi Go smartphone soon, considering the phone has received certification from US FCC, EEC, and SIRIM Malaysia. The phone is rumored to sport a 5.9-inch display, pack entry level internals, and run Android Pie Go Edition out-of-the-box.
Expected India pricing of the upcoming Redmi smartphones
In China, the Redmi Note 7 starts at CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 10,300) for the 3GB/32GB model and goes up to CNY 1,399 (approx. Rs. 14,500) for the top-end 6GB/64GB variant. Moreover, as per a recent leak, the Redmi Note 7 Pro will come at a starting price of CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 16,000). Lastly, the Redmi Go should be priced around Rs. 5,000.
