Xiaomi to launch a new 50-inch 4K TV in India
Expanding its portfolio of Android TVs in India, Xiaomi is likely to launch a new Mi TV soon. According to a report, the company is planning to launch a 50-inch UHD model in the Mi TV 4A series. To recall, this model was launched in China last year with a price tag of 2,399 yuan or approx. Rs. 25,000 in India. Here's our roundup.

The Mi TV 4A 50 features a 50-inch (3840x2160 pixels) 4K UHD display with HDR10+ HLG, 60Hz refresh rate, and a 178-degree viewing angle. It is powered by a 64-bit Amlogic L962 quad-core processor, paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. In India, this model will run Android TV-based PatchWall UI and is likely to be marketed as Mi TV 4A Pro.
Mi TV 4A 50-inch model will offer latest connectivity options
In terms of connectivity options, the 50-inch Mi TV 4A supports Wi-Fi 802.11a/c (2.4/5 GHz dual-band), Bluetooth 4.2, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Audio. It will also offer three HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV input, Ethernet port, and an S/PDIF audio output port.
The TV should come with pre-loaded content and built-in Chromecast
Like other premium Mi TVs available in India, the upcoming 50-inch Mi TV 4A model should come loaded with more than 700,00 hours of content from providers like Prime Video, Jio Cinema, Eros Now, Hooq, ALTBalaji, Hungama, Sony Liv and TVF among others. Moreover, it should also come with a Mi Bluetooth remote and built-in Chromecast and Google Play Store.

Currently, Xiaomi sells three televisions under its 4A series in India.
