Xiaomi to launch Mi Mix 2S smartphone on March 27
Xiaomi has announced that the company will launch its Mi Mix 2S smartphone on March 27. The announcement came just before Samsung and Nokia were about launch their respective latest smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 in Barcelona. Looking at the teaser announcement, the device is expected to be a true blue-blooded premium phone.
The first Xiaomi phone with the Snapdragon 845 processor
The high-end phone will compete with the likes of the Galaxy S9, Nokia 8, OnePlus 6 and the iPhone 9. It will also be the first Xiaomi phone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The announcement also featured an impressive Antutu score of 273741 of the Mi Mix 2S, which is one of the most popular benchmarks for Android devices.
Xiaomi not to be unheard in the noise of MWC
This comes as Xiaomi, which doesn't participate in the MWC, wanted to make sure that it's not forgotten when the entire world will be awaiting the launch of the GalaxyS9 or the Nokia 1 smartphones at the event. It will carry out its individual launch in China. Xiaomi's last appearance at the MWC was in 2016 when it launched the Mi 5.

According to leaked images and rumors, Mi Mix 2S might bring back the rear camera on the top right corner of the device after the Mi Mix 2 featured it below the screen on the bottom. The phone's design could be similar to the Mi Mix 2, which sports non-existent bezels and a fantastic screen-to-body ratio. To recall, it was launched at Rs. 35,999.
