So far, we've had some info and spy shots of a premium Redmi smartphone that'll feature an elevating camera and top-end hardware. However, nothing was certain. But finally, Xiaomi-owned Redmi has released an official teaser of this unnamed phone, confirming that it'll feature a pop-up selfie camera as well as flagship grade internals. Let's first understand Redmi's rather cryptic teaser
The upcoming smartphone will arrive under Xiaomi's Redmi sub-brand as the teaser has been posted by Redmi's official Weibo account. The video also carries several clips of Avengers: Endgame movie trailer, meaning we can also expect an Avengers-themed variant of this phone. Lastly, the teaser ends with a Chinese text which loosely translates to "Redmi new flagship", hinting at the phone's flagship level internals.

As per the teaser video, the upcoming Redmi phone will feature a pop-up selfie camera design - similar to Vivo Nex and a bunch of other elevating camera devices. Evidently, this design will allow for an edge-to-edge screen with no obtrusive punch holes or notches. Moreover, some rumors suggest that the phone would offer a 6.39-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution.
What about other specifications
While the teaser video tells us almost nothing about the specifications, we expect the phone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. Recently, Lu Weibing, GM of the Redmi brand also confirmed that a phone with a Snapdragon 855 chipset is in the works. Lastly, rumors also point towards 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on this unnamed Redmi device.
