Leaked images reveal design, specs of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S
While its official launch is on March 27, leaked images of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S have already given plenty of hints towards the design and specifications one can expect in Xiaomi's upcoming smartphone. Now, a recent leak suggests that Mi MIX 2S will get an edge-to-edge display with iPhone X-like vertically positioned dual-cameras and possible support for wireless charging as well. Here's more.
An iPhone X-like rear camera design and edge-to-edge display
The Mi MIX 2S would reportedly feature an edge-to-edge display with thinner bezels as compared to its trendsetting predecessor- MIX 2. On the rear-side, there will be a vertically positioned dual-camera setup, fingerprint sensor and a glossy back which could be a glass panel, allowing for wireless charging. According to reports, the Mi MIX 2S will come with a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display.
Other key details about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S
Given the bottom bezel is slightly thicker than the top one, the front camera sensor may be placed there along with the ambient light and proximity sensors. Further, Xiaomi has already confirmed that Mi MIX 2S will feature the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now, reports hint at a 8GB of RAM capacity and a 4,400mAh battery.
Mi MIX 2S will support wireless charging
The smartphone will come with support for wireless charging according to recent image leak by Xiaomi's Weibo account. A report also claimed that Xiaomi is planning to offer 7.5W wireless charging on the Mi 7 which will be based on the Qi Specification Version 1.1 - something we have seen in the latest iPhone lineup.
