Mi MIX 2S, Mi 7 to get under-display fingerprint scanners
Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi MIX 2S on March 27 with Mi 7 is also believed to be in the pipeline. Further, as per the latest reports, Xiaomi is working to offer an under-display fingerprint scanner on both the smartphones along with Snapdragon 845 SoC processor and other top-of-the-line specs. According to reports, Mi MIX 2S and Mi 7 may feature a 6.01-inch OLED display made by Samsung. Recent leaks also hint at a possibility that the MI MIX 2S and the Mi 7 may get an under-display fingerprint scanner in the lower central part along with a higher screen-to-body ratio on the Mi MIX 2s than its predecessor.
What else do we know about the Mi MIX 2S
Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi MIX 2S will get the latest Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage while packing a massive 4,400mAh battery. Earlier leaks had also suggested that the new Mi MIX 2 will feature a a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display and may come with a 16-megapixel primary camera sensor.
All about the Mi 7
Xiaomi is also expected to power the Mi 7 with a Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options along with AI integration and a vertically stacked dual 16-megapixel rear camera module. Reports also suggest that the phone may get support for wireless charging with 7.5W power and that Xiaomi has already started testing the new support.
