#LeakPeek: Xiaomi's Mi Mix 4 will be a game changer
If the present leak is anything to go by, Xiaomi's upcoming Mi Mix 4 will be a game changer. According to a tip-off, it will be a spec monster, featuring Snapdragon 855 chipset, upto 16GB of RAM, and QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the phone is also expected to debut Xiaomi's 100W fast charging technology. Here's more.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 might feature Mi Mix 3-like design
While the current leak doesn't reveal the design of Mi Mix 4, the least we can expect is an all-screen design achieved by adopting a slider camera module - similar to Mi Mix 3. However, the display might be the best ever on a smartphone, courtesy a QHD+ AMOLED display with a stunning 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 said to feature a 64MP sensor
Samsung recently announced the world's first 64MP image sensor and we might get to see it soon on the Mi Mix 4. According to the leak, the Xiaomi flagship will offer multi-lens camera setup comprising a 64MP main sensor. The listing also says this sensor has scored a DxOMark rating of 115.
Under the hood
The Mi Mix 3 will be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with upto 16GB RAM and upto 1TB of internal storage in UFS 3.1 format, according to the leak. Moreover, the phone is tipped to house a 4,500mAh battery and debut Xiaomi's 100W Super Charge technology that was recently demoed to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
But isn't everything too good to be true?
There will come a day when the aforementioned specs will actually make it to a smartphone. But today, in 2019, the leak appears too good to be true. So far, no one including the tipster has been able to confirm any of the details. Hence, we'd suggest taking everything with a pinch of salt. Until then, let's hope for a future smartphone like this.
