Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S goes on open sale: Details here
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S, which was till now being sold through flash sales, is now available via open sale on Flipkart and Mi.com. Manu Kumar Jain, who is the MD of Xiaomi India, tweeted yesterday, confirming that the smartphone will be available on 24x7 open sale. To recall, the phone was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 10,999. Here's more.

In terms of looks, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7S features a waterdrop notched display upfront while the back houses a dual rear camera array along with a fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the phone has a 6.3-inch full HD+ display (1080*2340 pixels) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, Gorilla Glass 5 protection on both sides, and a P2i splash-resistant coating.

As far as optics are concerned, the Redmi Note 7S houses a dual rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary camera and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the phone sports a 13MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper with support for AI Portrait mode and AI Face unlock. Moreover, both the main as well as selfie cameras can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps

Performance wise, Redmi Note 7S is fueled by Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable upto 256GB). Under the hood, the phone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10. Lastly, it offers all the standard sensors and connectivity options including Dual-SIMs (nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB Type-C port.

As for the pocket pinch, the Redmi Note 7S starts at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB/32GB model while the 4GB/64GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999. Talking about launch offers, Flipkart is offering a 5% discount for Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders and upto Rs. 10,450 off on product exchange.
