Xiaomi Redmi 6 images, specs revealed by Chinese certification site
Xiaomi is expected to launch Redmi 6 series smartphones, the successor to Redmi 5 series smartphones, pretty soon. According to reports, three models of what could be the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones, were spotted on TENAA, a Chinese mobile certification website. The listing has revealed some key details of these three upcoming Xiaomi smartphones codenamed as M1804C3DE, M1804C3CC, and M1804C3CE. Here's more.
All about the Redmi 6
According to the listing, the Redmi 6 (M1804C3DE) bears a 5.45-inch (720x1440 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz (maybe Snapdragon 625 chipset) and pack a 3,000mAh battery. The dimensions of the device are 147.46x71.49x8.3mm which are close to Redmi 5 measurements. Hence, this model isn't a taller Redmi Note variant.
What else do we know about Redmi 6
The Redmi 6 will come in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options with 16GB/32GB/64GB of inbuilt storage. As per listing's images, Redmi 6 has a dual rear-camera setup with 12-megapixel primary camera (secondary rear camera details were not stated) and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
What else do we know about the other models?
The M1804C3CC model comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage. This model gets a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Lastly, as per the listing, the M1804C3CE model gets 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB inbuilt storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
