Days after launching Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A smartphones, Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Redmi 6 Pro in China on June 25. A new set of official renders have exposed the design and color options of the upcoming smartphone, which will sport an iPhone-like notch-based display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Redmi 6 Pro: At a glance
In terms of design, the Redmi 6 Pro will sport a notch-based display along with a small chin and metallic rear panel. The panel will house a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. As per official renders, the phone will be offered in Rose Gold, Sand Gold, Lake Blue, Black, and Flame Red color variants.
What else do know about Redmi 6 Pro?
According to reports, the Redmi 6 Pro is said to feature a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to come in 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM options along with 16GB/32GB/64GB of onboard storage. The phone will sport rear dual-camera setup with the primary sensor expected to be 12-MP and a 5-MP front snapper.
Redmi 6 Pro will run Android 8.1 Oreo
Just like the recently launched Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A, the Redmi 6 Pro will also run Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9. Moreover, the phone is also expected to receive MIUI 10 update. Lastly, the phone is said to pack a massive 4,000mAh battery.
