Poco F1 now supports 4K, 1080p video recording at 60fps
Xiaomi's Poco F1, which is one of the best budget-friendly flagship devices, is set to get a major camera upgrade. The company has started rolling out a new 9.3.1 beta MIUI update that introduces support for 4K videos at 60fps on the smartphone. Presently, the Poco F1 can record 4K videos at 30fps only. This camera update brings support for 4K and 1080p video recording on the Poco F1, making it a solid competitor to other premium flagship smartphones. That said, the update is being presently rolled out only for beta users. And after initial testing, this feature will be made available for all on a stable version, according to the official announcement.
Here's how to get this MIUI beta update
If you are already an MIUI beta tester, you will automatically receive the update via OTA method. However, if you are not a beta tester and still wish to test out the new video capabilities on your Poco F1, you can download the update from here: https://bit.ly/2IOor2Z Notably, Xiaomi has released this beta update for Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro as well.
What to do after installing the update
If you have successfully installed the update, you can right away enable support for higher video quality. Simply go to Settings > Camera > Settings > Video Quality. Under video quality, you should see options for UHD 4K at 60fps and FHD 1080p at 60fps.

Poco F1 features a rear dual-camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.9) main sensor and a 5MP (f/2.0) depth sensor. The main camera currently supports 4K videos at 30fps and 960fps slow-motion video recording. Up front, there's a 20MP selfie snapper which supports AI-based Portrait mode.
