Mi TV 5 to feature slimmer bezels, QLED screens
According to teasers, the Mi TV 5 series will feature ultra-slim 1.8mm thick bezels as against 3.4mm borders on the Mi TV 4 range. The new models are also touted to have a body thickness of just 5.9mm.
Further, the Mi TV 5 models are likely to feature Samsung-sourced 4K QLED panels that will support HDR10+ and over 108% NTSC color gamut coverage.

As per a teaser, Mi TV 5 series will come with a four-unit speaker. The setup will pack a woofer and a full-range speaker to offer better bass, finer treble, and a wide sound field. The TVs will also support Dolby and DTS audio formats.

The new Mi TVs will offer top-tier internals
The Mi TV 5 will be powered by an Amlogic T972 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The processor is touted to support 8K decoding.
Additionally, the TVs will also come with a MEMC chip that is touted to offer a blur-free rendering of high-speed action for sportscasts, games and more.
