Xiaomi Mi Sports Youth Edition bluetooth headsets launched
As the latest Bluetooth headset, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Sports Youth Edition in China. The latest edition retains the design of its predecessor and features a splash-proof built and a bigger battery. The Mi Sports Youth Edition has been priced at CNY 99 (approx. Rs. 990) in China but it is unclear if Xiaomi would bring them in India. Here's more.
Mi Sports Youth Edition headset: At a glance
The headset features in-ear style buds which are slightly tilted to offer a snug fit while being 360-degree adjustable. You also have dedicated volume controls, a play/ pause button, and a microphone. Moreover, the Mi Sports Youth Edition headset comes in Blue and White color variants, with 5 differently-sized adjustable ear tips.
Headsets are rated to offer 11 hours of playback time
The Mi Sports Youth Edition headset features IPx4 water resistance rating, making it splash-proof. Notably, with IPX4 rating, the headset is not suited to survive the rain. The headset comes with a 120mAh battery that offers a claimed battery life of 11 hours on a single charge. Lastly, the headset weighs just 13.6 grams and supports Bluetooth v4.1 for pairing up with your device.
A look at last year's Mi Sports Bluetooth Mini headset
The latest Mi Sports Youth Edition gets minor upgrades as compared to its predecessor - the Mi Sports Mini. The Mini headset featured the same design, had an IPX4 water resistance rating but weighed slighter heavier at 14.5 grams, and packed a smaller 110mAh battery.
