Xiaomi Mi Note 5 specifications and price leaked
Along with its 2018 flagship smartphone Mi 8, Xiaomi is all set to unveil the successor to Mi Note 3, the Mi Note 5, on May 31 in China. The company is likely to skip the Mi Note 4 branding and settle for Mi Note 5 naming scheme, according to leaked promotional material which has revealed key details of the device. Here's more.
Xiaomi Mi Note 5: At a glance
According to the leak, the Mi Note 5 would feature a 5.99-inch display with a Full Screen 2.0 design and ultra-thin bezels. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. Further, the phone will get four-axis optical image stabilization along with 43 LTE band support, which suggests it could be a global device.
Leak also reveals price detail of Mi Note 5
According to the leaked image, the Mi Note 5 will be priced at CNY 2,299 (approx. Rs. 24,400) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage variant. Notably, the Mi Note 5's price mark is slightly lower than the launch price of its predecessor, the Mi Note 3, that was launched at a starting price of CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 26,500) in September 2017.

Xiaomi, commemorating its 8th-anniversary, is expected to launch Mi Band 3, wireless charging dock, and a new Surge chipset which may be called Surge S2, its 2018 flagship smartphone Mi 8 and the latest version of its operating system - MIUI 10.
