Xiaomi Mi Mix 3: Everything we know so far
Xiaomi is working to launch Mi Mix 3, the successor to its last year's flagship, the Mi Mix 2S. The phone, expected to feature an all-screen design and a pop-up selfie camera, is tipped to launch in September. Now, latest reports suggest Mi Mix 3 will come in three variants along with a premium Ferrari Edition. Here's everything we know about Mi Mix 3.
Xiaomi Mi Mix premium variant to get in-display camera
Xiaomi will offer its Mi Mix 3 flagship in two variants - a standard model and a premium variant with ceramic back - according to latest reports. The report further notes that the standard model will get a Vivo Nex-like pop-up selfie camera while the premium variant will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor (already seen on Xiaomi Mi 8) and an in-display front camera.
What else do we know about the Mi Mix 3
Considering Mi Mix 3 will be a flagship, we expect the phone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage and support Qi standard wireless charging. Moreover, Xiaomi is also expected to launch a Ferrari edition of the phone which is likely to have a Ferrari branded design and bumped-up specs.
Mi Mix 3 tipped to start at $510
The 6GB RAM/64GB storage (Standard model) will be priced at $510 while the Ceramic Edition will cost $660. The 6GB RAM/128GB variant will cost $555 for Standard model and $705 for Ceramic Edition. The 8GB/128GB option will be listed at $600 and $750 for Standard and Ceramic Editions respectively Lastly, the 8GB/256GB variant will cost $645 (Standard model) and $795 for the Ceramic Edition.
