Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 prices slashed in India, once again
With the launch of OnePlus 6 and Honor 10, India's highly price sensitive smartphone market - especially the premium mid-range segment, has become all the more competitive. Launched at Rs. 35,999 in October 2017, the trendsetting bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 saw a price-cut of Rs. 3,000 in January this year. And now, with another cut, it is priced at Rs. 29,999. New pricing now applicable across offline and online sale channels
Following subsequent price cuts, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 now retails for Rs. 29,999. For now, this is the permanent price of the phone and is applicable on Mi.com, Mi Home, and official online partner Flipkart.
At a glance
With support for dual-SIM (Nano) cards, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 offers a 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) LCD display and runs MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage (not expandable). Under the hood, the Mi Mix 2 packs 3,400mAh battery.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
Mi Mix 2 features a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 rear camera sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, 5-piece lens, an f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis optical image stabilization, dual-tone LED flash and facial recognition feature. On the front, the phone offers a 5-megapixel snapper which comes with support for facial recognition function that can be used to unlock the smartphone.
Connectivity options and sensors onboard Xiaomi Mi Mix 2
In terms of connectivity, the Mi Mix 2 offers 4G (support for 43 LTE bands), VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, ultrasonic proximity sensor and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of dimensions, the Mi Mix 2 measures 151.8x75.5x7.7mm and weighs 185 grams.
