Xiaomi Mi Max 3 design, specs leaked ahead of launch
In a few days from now, Xiaomi will launch its mid-range phablet, Mi Max 3. The smartphone was recently spotted on Chinese mobile certification website which exposed some of its key specs. And now, a couple of Mi Max 3 variants have been leaked in hands-on videos, giving away the design of the upcoming Xiaomi phablet. Here's more about the Mi Max 3.
Mi Max 3: At a glance
The hands-on videos reveal that the Mi Max 3 will sport thin bezels on the front, a metallic back panel, vertically stacked dual camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone is said to sport a 6.9-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The videos also suggest the phone will come in at least two color options - Black and Gold.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
As revealed by the hands-on videos, the Mi Max 3 will get a vertically positioned dual rear camera. In terms of optics, the camera setup is likely to get a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, the Mi Max 3 is expected to bear a 5-megapixel selfie camera that may also support artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Under the hood
According to the details spotted on TENAA, the Mi Max 3 will come in three variants with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB of onboard storage options. The phone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and pack a massive 5,500mAh battery. However, previous reports had suggested that the phablet may come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset.
