Xiaomi launches Mi LED Smart Bulb in India via crowdfunding
As part of its Mi Crowdfunding program, Xiaomi has introduced the Mi LED Smart Bulb in India. It is claimed to have a life span of 11 years and supports 16 million colors which can be changed remotely via the Mi Home App. The smart bulb will be available in India via crowdfunding channel on Mi.com, starting from April 26. Notably, Xiaomi hasn't revealed the pricing of its Mi LED Smart Bulb in India. The company is expected to announce the price on April 26 itself when it goes on sale via the crowdfunding platform. The sale will be hosted on Mi.com starting at 12 pm and we expect to see only a limited number of units on sale.

The Mi LED Smart Bulb offers a claimed life span of up to 11 years and supports upto 16 million colors. It also supports Alexa and Google Assistant. Unlike other Smart Bulbs, it doesn't require an additional bridge or hub for wireless connectivity. Lastly, via the Mi Home app, you can turn on/off your Mi LED Smart Bulb, set schedules, and change brightness/color.
Xiaomi has already launched a bunch of products via crowdfunding
Back in April last year, Xiaomi introduced the Mi Crowdfunding project in India with the Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Mi Selfie Stick Tripod. Last December, the Chinese tech giant launched the Mi Sunglasses via the same platform. Moreover, recently in February, the company introduced its Mi Sports Shoes 2 in India via crowdfunding platform itself.
