Xiaomi Mi CC9, CC9e and CC9 Meitu Custom Edition launched
After a bunch of leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has finally launched its camera-centric Mi CC9 series of smartphones in its home country. The line-up comprises three handsets: Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, and Mi CC9e. All the three smartphones feature waterdrop notched display, gradient design, triple rear cameras, and 32MP selfie snappers. Here's our roundup.
Mi CC9: Starts at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 18,000)
The Mi CC9 comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with HDR support, full-HD+ resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset, paired with Adreno 616 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64/128GB of expandable storage. The phone runs on Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and packs a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.

The Mi CC9 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and another 2MP sensor to capture depth details. On the front, the handset houses a 32MP (f/2.0) shooter for selfies.
Mi CC9 Meitu Custom: Costs CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 26,000)
In terms of design and performance, the Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition model is the same as Mi CC9. However, it gets only one color scheme and offers slightly more storage as compared to the standard CC9. The smartphone comes with 8GB/256GB of storage and is available in the white gradient finish. Moreover, it gets CC9's camera features and video editing capabilities.
Mi CC9e: Starts at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 13,000)
The Mi CC9e sports a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with 1560 x 720 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and offers Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone is fueled by a Snapdragon 665 processor, paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Further, it packs a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10 OS.
