Xiaomi to soon launch Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition
As a complementing wearable to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Xiaomi has teased the Explorer Edition of its latest Mi Band 3, hinting at its imminent launch. According to the official teasers, the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition will come with a translucent strap - much like the Mi 8 Explorer Edition which comes with a translucent back panel. Here's more.
What do the teasers reveal?
According to the teaser, the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition will come with a translucent rubber strap (white color strap seen in the teaser). Notably, the Mi Band 3 Explorer Edition sports the same design as the regular variant, making it unclear if this variant will get bumped up specs or not.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3: At a glance
The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 sports a 0.78-inch capacitive OLED display and packs a 110mAh battery. The band comes with Bluetooth 4.2 LE and can connect with several Android and iOS devices to show call and text alerts. Moreover, the Mi Band 3 can track activity, sleep and also comes with a heart-rate (PPG) sensor and a triaxial acceleration sensor.
