Xiaomi teases launch of Android One-based Mi A3 in India
Xiaomi is planning to launch the Android One-based Mi A3 in India soon. Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain has released a teaser video, hinting at the arrival of Mi A3. The phone recently went official in Spain and it comes as a rebranded version of the Mi CC9e featuring a waterdrop notched display, triple-lens rear camera, and mid-level internals. Xiaomi Mi A3: Design and display
Coming as a rebranded version of the Mi CC9e, the Mi A3 offers a waterdrop notched display with an all-glass body and gradient design on the rear. It comes with a triple-lens rear camera system and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. Further, the handset offers a 6.08-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Mi A3 sports a triple-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.79) main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and another 2MP lens for capturing depth details. The main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps and 1080p at 120fps. On the front, the phone offers a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper which supports 1080p recording at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Mi A3 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it packs a 4,030mAh battery and runs on stock Android Pie as part of Google's Android One program. Lastly, the phone offers all the latest connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, and headphone jack.

In Spain, the Mi A3 costs 249 euros (Rs. 19,200) for the 64GB storage variant and EUR 279 (Rs. 21,500) for the 128GB storage option. The handset is offered in "Not Just Blue", "More Than White", and "Kind of Gray" color options.
