Xiaomi will announce Mi A3 in India on August 23 at 12 pm, according to a teaser shared by the company. The upcoming handset, arriving as a sequel to the popular Android One-based Mi A2, is a rebranded version of Mi CC9e. As a rebranded version of the Mi CC9e, the Mi A3 offers a waterdrop notched display with an all-glass body and gradient design on the rear. It features a 6.08-inch AMOLED display with an HD+ resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels, a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Notably, for secure unlocking, the phone also gets an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The Mi A3 sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.79) main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and another 2MP lens for capturing depth details. On the front, the phone offers a 32MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.

The Mi A3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of expandable storage.
