Xiaomi's Mi 5X to launch in India on Sept 5?
What's the story
After launching it in China, Xiaomi is now looking to release the Mi 5X in India reportedly on September 5.
The rumors surfaced after Xiaomi India tweeted a mysterious photo with the caption: "RT if you know which product we will launch! #FlagshipDualCamera #XiaomiGlobalLaunch."
Reports have estimated it would be priced around Rs. 15,000.

Mi 5X offered in three colors
The Mi 5X was launched in Beijing priced at about Rs. 14,200 in three color options: Black, Gold, and Rose Gold/Pink. It comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The highlighted feature of the phone is the MIUI 9.

MIUI ROM, the Android-based firmware, is the first product launched by Xiaomi in 2010. It has over 2.8bn active users.
It has an AI-based assistant; Xiaomi says it is smart enough to "find anything and everything".
The 'smart app launcher' can launch apps based on on-screen elements. Eg. it suggests Google Maps if a user is having a conversation about some location.

Will the phone be worth it?
Like the Mi 6, the Mi 5X has a 12MP wide-angle lens dual camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture. There's a 5MP front camera.
The phone comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, Snapdragon 625 and a 3080mAh battery.
