Xiaomi releases MIUI 13 update for Mi 11X Pro
Xiaomi has started rolling out the new Android 12-based MIUI 13 update for the Mi 11X Pro smartphone in India. The update is currently limited to Mi Pilot testers. As per the changelog, the firmware brings the latest February 2022 Android security patch, the ability to open floating windows directly from the sidebar, and optimizes Mind map nodes, Phone, Clock, and Weather apps.

Xiaomi had introduced its latest operating system, the MIUI 13, last December. Based on Android 12, it succeeds the MIUI 12.5 and has new widgets that offer an iOS 15-like experience. The Mi 11X Pro arrived in India last year with the tag of a flagship-killer. A performance-focused handset with near top-of-the-line specifications, it is only fitting that it gets the new MIUI 13.

According to Xiaomiui, the MIUI 13 update for the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro carries build number V13.0.1.0.SKKINXM, and has a download size of 3.1GB. It is being released to testers and will be accessible to other users once no bugs are found. To manually access the firmware, download the update package from MIUI Downloader and install it with TWRP.
The handset features a 120Hz E4 AMOLED display
The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro features a punch-hole cut-out at the top-center, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit. The handset bears a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 1,300-nits of peak brightness. It is offered in Cosmic Black, Lunar White, and Celestial Silver color options.
It flaunts a 108MP main camera
The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera module comprising, a 108MP (f/1.8) main sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP (f/2.4) telephoto shooter. Up front, it has a 20MP (f/2.5) selfie snapper.
It houses a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging capability
The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro is fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 11-based MIUI 12 and packs a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.
