Xiaomi Mi 10S, with Snapdragon 870 processor, goes official
As the latest addition to its Mi 10 series, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 10S model in China. The handset carries a starting price-tag of CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 37,000) and will go on sale starting March 12. It comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display, Harman Kardon-tuned stereo speakers, vapor chamber liquid cooling technology, and a Snapdragon 870 chipset. Here's our roundup.
The phone offers a Full-HD+ display
The Mi 10S features a punch-hole design with slim bezels, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it offers a quad camera setup. The handset bears a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It is offered in Black, Blue, and White color options.
It sports a 108MP main camera
Xiaomi Mi 10S packs a quad rear camera module comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it offers a 20MP front-facing camera.
The handset supports 30W wireless fast-charging
The Mi 10S is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12 and packs a 4,780mAh battery with 33W wired and 30W wireless fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, IR blaster, and a Type-C port.
