Xiaomi launches Smart TV A Series 2024 Edition in India
Xiaomi has introduced its latest Smart TV A Series 2024 Edition in India, an upgraded version of the 2023 models. The new series boasts enhanced specifications over its predecessors and is available in three display sizes: 32-inch, 40-inch, and 43-inch. The larger two models are powered by a quad-core Cortex A55 processor, a significant upgrade from the Cortex A35 processor, found in the smaller TV.
A look at the displays
The new Smart TVs are equipped with Xiaomi TV+, providing users access to over 150 live channels. The resolution varies across models, with the 32-inch offering a resolution of (1366x768), while the larger models feature Full-HD resolution. All TVs offer a refresh rate of 60Hz, a color depth of 16.7 million, and a viewing angle of 178 degrees, powered by Xiaomi's Vivid Picture Engine.
RAM, storage, and features
The RAM capacity varies across models; the 32-inch variant comes with 1GB of RAM, while the larger models have an enhanced capacity of 1.5GB. All of them offer an internal storage of 8GB. For sound output, these TVs are equipped with a 20W output that supports Dolby Audio and DTS:X. The Smart TVs run on Google TV (Android TV 11).
Connectivity options and prices
The new Xiaomi Smart TVs offer various connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, two HDMI ports, USB 2.0, and Ethernet. They also come with built-in OK Google and Chromecast features for enhanced user experience. The 32-inch variant costs ₹12,999, while the 40-inch and 43-inch versions are priced at ₹22,999 and ₹24,999, respectively.
