As the latest addition to its range of accessories available in India, Xiaomi has launched a new Mi Wireless Power Bank at Rs. 2,499. The portable device comes with Qi certification and offers a total power capacity of 10,000mAh. It supports up to 10W wireless charging as well as up to 18W wired charging. Here are more details.
It also supports 2-way fast charging
The Mi Wireless Power Bank lets you charge two compatible devices at the same time, meaning you can charge one device wirelessly while the other can be juiced up over a wired connection (via USB Type-A port or Type-C port). Moreover, you can also charge your devices while replenishing the power bank itself.
For wireless charging iPhones, you get 7.5W output
The Mi Wireless Power Bank offers 10W wireless charging support for Qi-based Android devices whereas for charging compatible iPhones, you get 7.5W output. As for the Type-C and Type-A ports, both units provide 18W fast charging.
Non-skid charging surface, advanced chip protection
Dimensions-wise, the Mi power bank measures 14.79 x 7.06 x 1.66 cm and is fairly portable at 230g. The wireless charging surface also has a non-skid finish that prevents the smartphone from sliding off. There is a 12-layer advanced chip protection system that safeguards devices against issues such as overheating, over current, and short circuits.
