As an addition to its portfolio of home appliances, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Air Purifier 3 in India.
The device comes as an upgrade to Mi Air Purifier 2, featuring a HEPA filter, laser particle sensor, and triple-layer filtration to provide clean air in the room.
In India, the Mi Air Purifier 3 is priced at Rs. 9,999.

Mi Air Purifier 3 can remove 99.97% of allergens
The Mi Air Purifier 3 comes with a 3-layer composite filter wherein the primary filter is responsible for removing large airborne particles such as dust and hair.
Then there's a 'True HEPA' filter which can reportedly remove 99.97% of allergens including mold spores, pollen, smoke, and other particles.
Lastly, the device has an activated carbon filter which helps remove toxic substances and gases.

Xiaomi is touting an "innovative air pressurization design" that gives the Mi Air Purifier 3 an "unmatched cleaning experience." The device has a Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) of 380 m3/hour and can cover an area of upto 484 sq.ft.

On the front, the Mi Air Purifier 3 has an OLED touchscreen that displays key information like PM 2.5 levels, temperature, humidity and more. You can also interact with this display to change fan speeds and operation modes.
It can also be controlled via the Mi Home app (via Wi-Fi) and can be easily managed via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
