WhatsApp users can now set certain contacts, groups as favorites
WhatsApp has launched a new stable update for its iOS users, version 24.16.79, now available on the App Store. The highlight of this update is the introduction of a feature, that permits users to mark certain contacts and groups as their favorites. This facility aims to help users quickly locate their most important conversations, by adding them to a dedicated favorites tab within the chats list.
How to use the new feature?
To use the new feature, users need to open the app settings and navigate to the favorites section. Here, they can easily add contacts and groups to their favorites list for quick access. Once added, these favorites will be prominently shown at the top of the calls tab and as a filter for chats list. Users also have the choice to manage their favorites by rearranging, adding or removing them as needed.
