The company plans to launch a two-way voice chat function powered by Meta AI, allowing users to interact with chatbot. As reported by WABetaInfo, this new feature will offer a range of voices differing in pitch, tonality, and accent for a more personalized experience.
A step toward personalized interaction
The AI voice chat feature is not yet available for beta testers on Android. However, it's expected that voices with UK and US accents will be included in the initial rollout. The new interaction option may also feature voices from public figures such as influencers and celebrities. This development aligns with Meta's previous efforts to integrate AI-driven personalities into its messaging services, offering users a more personalized interaction experience.
