The feature enables users to quickly identify the content without navigating to the pinned message. The thumbnail is displayed in the pinned message preview area when any media message is pinned, enhancing navigation within conversations.

The new pinned message preview feature is currently being rolled out, and will be available to more beta testers in the coming days. Users can test if this facility is already available for their account, by pinning any media message and observing if a thumbnail shows in the pinned message preview area.
