Sharing made simple
After you have updated your app, open a chat where you want to share media. You will now notice a camera shortcut in the gallery view.
Clicking on it will now open your device's camera from within WhatsApp. Click the shutter for photos; press and hold for videos.

If you don't want to use the camera shortcut or don't have it on your device, WhatsApp still provides the usual ways to share media.
By clicking the paperclip icon next to your message field, you can select either "Camera" to capture new images or "Gallery" to choose existing ones from your device.
