Vivo to launch Z6 5G smartphone on February 29
Chinese tech giant Vivo is all set to launch the Z6 5G in its home country on February 29. The upcoming handset will arrive as a successor to the Z5 model, which went official last year. So far, several leaks have revealed that the Z6 5G will come with a quad-camera setup, Snapdragon 765G chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging technology.
Vivo Z6 5G: At a glance
Up front, the Vivo Z6 5G will reportedly come with an edge-to-edge screen featuring a punch-hole design. On the rear, the phone will house a quad-camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner for secure unlocking. The handset is said to sport a 6.44-inch display with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and will be offered in Black, White, and Blue color options.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Vivo Z6 5G will house a quad-lens rear camera setup. However, the details about the sensors are still unclear as of now. To capture selfies, the handset is likely to offer a 32MP front-facing snapper housed in the display cut-out.
The handset would support 44W fast-charging technology
The Vivo Z6 5G is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the phone will pack a solid 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Apart from that, it will get "PC-grade" liquid-cooling technology for improved thermal management.
And, here's a look at the connectivity options
The Vivo Z6 5G will come with support for the latest connectivity options, including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, 5G connectivity, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, it would pack all standard sensors, including an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.
