Vivo Z3 launched in China: Specs, features and price
Chinese electronics giant Vivo has launched its Z3 mid-range smartphone in its home turf. The key highlights of the phone are its full-HD+ notched display, up to 6GB RAM, and an AI-powered dual rear camera. Notably, the phone comes in two processor options - Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 670. Here's our roundup.
Vivo Z3: At a glance
Up front, the phone sports a waterdrop-like notched display with a slim bottom bezel to boast of a 90.3% screen-to-body ratio. On the back, there's a glass panel that features a dual-tone gradient finish and houses a dual camera setup and fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Z3 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio.

The Vivo Z3 sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 16-MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, paired with a 2-MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the phone gets a 12-MP (f/2.0) dual pixel sensor and supports AI-based enhancements for self-portrait shots and lighting.

The Vivo Z3 is offered in three variants which are either powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor or Snapdragon 670 chipset, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). The phone runs Android Oreo-based Funtouch OS and packs a 3,315mAh battery. Further, the Vivo Z3 supports dual-SIM cards, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm jack.

The mid-end model with Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs CNY 1,898 (approx. Rs. 20,100). Likewise, the top-end variant with Snapdragon 710 chipset, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 2,298 (approx. Rs. 24,400).
