Vivo Z1x, featuring 48MP camera, to launch on September 6
As the latest addition to its portfolio of Z-series mid-range smartphones, Vivo is set to launch the Z1x in India on September 6. According to the product page, the handset will feature a notched screen, gradient design, triple rear camera, and an in-screen fingerprint. Moreover, the Chinese tech giant has also confirmed that the Vivo Z1x will be Flipkart exclusive. Here's all about it.
Vivo Z1x: Design and display
The Vivo Z1x will feature a familiar waterdrop notched screen that we have seen on so many handsets now. On the rear, the phone will sport a gradient design and house a triple-camera system. It'll bear a 6.38-inch screen Super AMOLED screen, presumably with full-HD+ resolution. The phone will also offer an in-display fingerprint reader that's touted to unlock the handset in 0.48 seconds.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Vivo Z1x will sport a triple-lens rear camera but the details of the setup are unclear as of now. Meanwhile, according to one report, the main sensor will be a 48MP main Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor while the other two are likely to be a wide-angle lens and a depth sensor. On the front, the phone will feature a single selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Vivo Z1x will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset. We also expect to see up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it will pack a 4,500mAh battery which will support 22.5W Flash Charge. Further, the phone will offer all the latest connectivity options including a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack.
Vivo Z1x expected to launch around Rs. 15,000
Going by the mid-level internals, we expect the Vivo Z1x to launch at around Rs. 15,000. However, the official details will be announced at the launch event itself on September 6. As for availability, it will be up for grabs through Flipkart and Vivo e-store.
