Vivo Z10 with 24-MP selfie camera launched for Rs. 14,990
As the latest entrant in India's already crowded mid-budget smartphone segment, Vivo has launched its Z10 smartphone for Rs. 14,990. The phone will be marketed through retail stores and is currently available in select Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The phone comes with mid-level internals, supports face unlocking and gets a 24MP selfie camera. Here's our roundup.
Vivo Z10: At a glance
In terms of design, the Vivo Z10 gets slim top and bottom bezels. On the rear, the phone sports a single camera, a fingerprint sensor and antennae bands concealed at the top and bottom edges. The phone features a 6-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) 'FullView' Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4%.

Z10 gets a 16-megapixel rear camera with a PDAF lens. It also supports slow-motion video recording and can produce 64-MP Ultra-HD images by combining four photos. On the front, it sports a 24-megapixel camera with 'Moonlight' technology that enhances selfies using Vivo's Face Beauty algorithm, and a Portrait Mode that provides bokeh effect. The front camera also supports face unlocking feature called Face Access.
Under the hood
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card. The Vivo Z10 supports dual-SIM Nano cards, runs Android Nougat-based FunTouch OS 3.2 and packs a 3,225mAh battery under the hood. Connectivity options on the phone include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
