Vivo Y93 gets officially listed, India launch imminent
As the latest addition to its portfolio of mid-range smartphones, Vivo is expected to launch the Y93 in India soon. Notably, the phone has been officially listed on the Vivo India website. The Vivo Y93 shares a lot of similarities with the company's other mid-range offerings including the bezel-less waterdrop notched display, gradient finish on the back panel, dual rear-camera, and a fingerprint sensor. In terms of display, the Y93 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1580 pixels) screen with 19:9 aspect ratio. As per the listing, the phone will come in Stary Black and Nebula Purple colors.

In the camera department, the Vivo Y93 gets a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, there's an 8MP selfie snapper with an f/1.8 aperture. Both the rear and front cameras offer features such as HDR, Portrait mode, and live photos among others.
Under the hood
The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Under the hood, Vivo Y93 runs Android Oreo 8.1-based FunTouch OS 4.5 and packs a 4,030mAh battery. Further, the company is also touting features such as Jovi Smart Sense - Vivo's own smart assistant - and Smart Split feature that lets you run two apps simultaneously.

In terms of connectivity options, the Vivo Y93 supports dual SIMs (Nano), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, Micro-USB with OTG support, FM radio and a headphone jack. Sensors on board the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and a virtual gyroscope. Moreover, as mentioned before, there's also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Currently, Vivo has not shared any details about the price and availability of this model. However, looking at the specifications, we can expect the phone to arrive under Rs. 15,000 price mark.
