Vivo Y19 to cost Rs. 14,000 for 4GB/128GB variant: Report
A few days back, we reported that Vivo is all set to launch the Y19 smartphone in India as a successor to the existing Y17. Now, a report by 91Mobiles has claimed that the handset would cost Rs. 13,990 for the 4GB/128GB model. The smartphone, which recently went official in Thailand, offers waterdrop notched display, gradient design, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals.
Here's a look at the smartphone
The Vivo Y19 offers a familiar waterdrop notched design with noticeable top and bottom bezels. On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses triple rear cameras with LED flash, and a physical fingerprint sensor for secure authentication. The handset features a 6.53-inch LCD display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
What's the camera like on Vivo Y19?
In the imaging department, Vivo Y19 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and another 2MP (f/2.4) lens to capture depth details. Up front, the phone offers a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. Moreover, both the front as well as rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Vivo Y19 draws power from MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor, coupled with upto 6GB RAM and upto 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs FunTouch OS 9 and packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Lastly, it offers all latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
When will it arrive in India?
As of now, there is no official word on the availability of Vivo Y19 in India. However, according to reports, Vivo will launch the handset as a successor to the Y17 model in the country sometime soon.
