Vivo X60 series to debut in India on March 25
Vivo is all set to launch the X60 series of smartphones in India on March 25. The line-up, already available in China, includes X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+ models. However, it is unclear if all the three handsets will arrive in India. Separately, Flipkart and Amazon have teased the X60 series on their platforms, confirming the availability of the upcoming smartphones.
The handsets offer a 120Hz Full-HD+ screen
The Vivo X60 series has a glass-aluminium body with a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, they pack up to quad cameras. The smartphones bear a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2376 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. They are offered in Orange, Aurora, White, Gray, and Dark Blue color options (depending on the model).
The trio boasts of a 32MP selfie camera
The Vivo X60 sports a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP portrait camera. The X60 Pro gets an additional 8MP periscope camera. The X60 Pro+ offers a quad rear camera module, including a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 32MP telephoto camera, and an 8MP periscope lens. Up front, the trio offers a 32MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood, they run on Android 11
In India, the X60 and X60 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, whereas X60 Pro+ will be backed by a Snapdragon 888 processor. They come loaded with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and run on Android 11-based Origin OS 1.0. The X60 has a 4,300mAh battery, while the Pro and Pro+ variants pack a 4,200mAh battery.
Vivo X60 series: Pricing and availability
The pricing details of the Vivo X60 series in India will be announced on March 25. The phones will be available via Amazon and Flipkart. For reference, in China, the X60 line-up carries a starting price-tag of CNY 3,500 (roughly Rs. 39,200).
