Vivo X27 Pro, X27 launched with triple rear-cameras, pop-up selfie-camera
As the latest addition to its portfolio of mid-range devices, Vivo has launched the X27 and X27 Pro in China. Both phones feature premium looks with an all-screen design, in-screen fingerprint sensor, pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras, and mid-level internals including a Snapdragon 710 chipset. The Vivo X27 lineup starts at 3,198 yuan which is roughly Rs. 32,900 in India. Here's our roundup.
Vivo X27, X27 Pro: At a glance
Both the Vivo X27 and X27 Pro look quite identical with a notch-less, edge-to-edge display. However, they do have their individual design elements. The regular X27 has a small pop-up camera module while the Pro model gets a significantly larger camera unit and a flash component. The triple rear cameras are also differently laid out, making the Pro model distinct from the regular variant.
All about the screen
The Vivo X27 features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In comparison, the X27 Pro sports a 6.7-inch display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ resolution.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Vivo X27 offers a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP Sony IMX586 main camera, a 13MP wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth camera. Up front, it has a 16MP pop-up selfie camera. On the other hand, the X27 Pro model also has the same camera optics except for a 32MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The 128GB storage model of Vivo X27 comes with a Snapdragon 675 chipset and 8GB of RAM while the 256GB variant gets a Snapdragon 710 processor and 8GB of RAM. The Vivo X27 Pro is backed by a Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Further, both phones pack 4,000mAh batteries and run Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9.
Pricing and availability
Vivo X27 costs 3,198 yuan (Rs. 32,900) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model and 3,598 yuan (Rs. 37,000) for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model. The phone will go on sale in China starting March 23. The Pro model is priced at 3,998 yuan (Rs. 41,100) for the solo 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The India pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
