Vivo X23 to get next-generation in-display fingerprint sensor, 3D face-recognition
Vivo is working to launch Vivo X23 - the successor to Vivo X21 which was originally launched in China this March and later introduced in India in May. Interestingly, a report has now tipped the possible specs of the upcoming smartphone while a tipster has leaked hands-on images of the alleged Vivo X23 on Chinese social media site Weibo. According to leaked images of the alleged Vivo X23, the phone will sport a 'waterdrop'-like notched display - a design introduced by OPPO. Considering OPPO and Vivo are sister companies (parent company being BBK Electronics), it is possible that Vivo has also adopted the 'new notch'. However, other details regarding the design have not been revealed.
What else do we know about the Vivo X23?
Further, a tipster has leaked the specs of the Vivo X23 on Weibo. The tip-off claims that Vivo X23 will feature a 6.4-inch fullscreen display along with an improved in-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor along with 8GB RAM; this will be an upgrade over Vivo X21's Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6GB RAM.

The leak also claims that the phone will come with a 3D face recognition module - a feature popularized by the iPhone X. Further, the tip-off suggests of an "independent" audio DAC as well.
