Vivo X21 with under-display fingerprint sensor launched for Rs. 35,990
The Vivo X21 smartphone has been launched in India at Rs. 35,990. The one major highlight of the smartphone is its in-display fingerprint scanner which allows users to unlock the phone by placing their finger anywhere on the screen. The Flipkart-exclusive smartphone is among the first to offer this feature. It is available in Black, Ruby Red, and Aurora White color options.
The smartphone's display features a notch
The dual-SIM Vivo X21 features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, 6GB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage, and 3,200mAh battery. It runs Android 8.1-based FunTouch OS 4.0 and is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The Vivo X21 sports a dual rear camera setup, with 12MP + 5MP sensors, along with a 12MP front camera.
The device features Vivo's own virtual assistant Jovi
The phone's camera offers functionalities like Slow Motion video recording, Portrait and Bokeh modes, Live Photo, AR Stickers, and AI Face Beauty. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivo X21's sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
The phone can run Android P beta version
The Vivo X21 is one of the first 11 smartphones to be compatible with the recently released Android P beta. It comes with a Rs. 3,000 exchange offer, 5% cashback on SBI credit cards, and no-cost EMI up to 12 months on all credit cards.
