Vivo's new flagship to be called 'X Note'; specifications leaked
A new Vivo flagship handset with model number V2170A has been spotted on China's 3C certification site. According to tipster WHY LAB, the phone will debut in China with the "X Note" moniker. He has also claimed that it will be launched as early as March. Separately, specifications of the alleged X Note have also surfaced online courtesy of tipster Panda is Bald.

We have been hearing rumors about a new Vivo flagship dubbed the NEX 5. However, news from China suggests that it will instead arrive with the name "X Note." This new development comes as a blow for those who have been expecting a resurrection of the company's high-end NEX series. It is, however, possible that the new moniker will be used only in China.
The handset will feature a 120Hz E5 AMOLED screen
The Vivo X Note may feature a notch-less display with slim bezels, curved edges, a pop-up selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it should sport a quad camera unit. Also, it could have stylus support. The handset will bear a 7.0-inch QHD+ E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Dimensions-wise, it will measure 9.2mm in thickness and weigh 221gm.
It will boast a quad camera setup at the back
The Vivo X Note will flaunt a quad rear camera arrangement, comprising a 50MP Samsung S5KGN1 main shooter, a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor, a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens, and an 8MP snapper with 5x zoom. Details about the selfie camera are scarce at the moment.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip will fuel the device
The Vivo X Note will draw juice from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and Adreno GPU. Under the hood, it will run on Android 12-based Funtouch OS and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support. The handset should offer support for Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The official pricing and availability details of the Vivo X Note will be announced at the time of its launch. However, we expect it to start at around Rs. 50,000.
